Nancy and Craig Johnson Scholarship and Josh Jarmin Scholarship
Paige Rupple’s first year 4-H project was gardening, and she chose this project because she loved being outdoors with her dad and eating fresh vegetables right out of the garden. After that initial year, she was able to earn her Hunter’s Safety Certificate, and her grandpa bought her a Savage Pink Cricket .22 and for the last 8 years her project has been shooting sports. During her 10 years in 4-H, she served as Wyatt 4-H Club Secretary/Treasurer for three years and President for one year. This past year, she joined the Weld County Junior Fair Board and is serving as the Treasurer. These roles have taught her the importance of leading by example, importance of setting goals and working hard to achieve them. These skills and attributes that she has learned through 4-H will continue throughout her life. Her career goal of athletic training and/or physical therapy will ultimately help others lead longer, happier, and healthier lives. Paige will be attending the University of Northern Colorado majoring in Sports and Exercise Science and then earn a MS in Athletic Training and/or DPT in Physical Therapy.
