Mike Freeman is a lifetime resident of Weld County. Mike graduated from Highland High School in 1980 and Colorado State University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Ag Business. After graduating from CSU, he returned to the family farm west of Ault where he continued to farm and ranch until 2001.
He then joined forces with his wife, Janine, in their current business, J9 Crop Insurance Agency located in Ault. Mike and Janine have two children; Peter, and Lynsey. They also have five grandchildren.
Mike has served on many Boards and Elected Offices & Appointments including Pierce Elevator Board of Directors, Highland Service Club, Greeley Chamber of Commerce Ag Committee, Highland School Bord, Colorado Association of School Board, Eaton Country Club Board of Directors, Weld County Republican Executive Committee, Ault Fire Board, Aims Community Board of Trustees and Weld County Commissioner.
