Weld County 4-H Foundation Scholarship
When Addison tells people that she shows pigs and goats they tend to immediately think of pigs rolling around in the mud or goats with bells around their necks chewing on cans. This is not the reality of raising livestock and 4-H has provided her with the opportunity to educate people who have not had the same experience. Being involved in 4-H has shaped her into a responsible, caring and observant person than she never thought she could be. She has learned impactful and valuable lessons through the program that has taught her how to solve problems and persevere through challenging situations. She is a 10-year member and is President of the Country Boots and Shirts 4-H Club where she sees the positive impact 4-H has had on her and fellow members. Addison’s goal is to graduate from Northeastern Junior College and then Colorado State University with a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business and develop a career that is related to the livestock industry.
