Helmut and Bob Brunner Memorial Scholarship
Hayden Annand is a 5-year member of Galeton 4-H Club, where she started out taking Outdoor Cooking, Veterinary Science and Shooting Sports. Participating in Shooting Sports and Vet Science has expanded her knowledge along with many life skills such as communication, perseverance, and how to lead by example. When she first joined 4-H she was very impressed with the officers and how they ran meetings. It inspired her to become an officer as well, holding Vice President in 2022 and President in 2023-2025. The President position helped her gain the ability to comfortably talk in front of a crowd of people and taught her how to lead by example. The younger kids are looking for someone to look up to and a goal of hers was to be that person for them. Hayden’s educational goal is to attend Colorado State University, majoring in Animal Science, and then apply for the Veterinary program.
Hayden is the recipient of the Helmut and Bob Brunner Memorial Scholarship.
