Weld County 4-H Foundation Scholarship
Throughout Celie Tharp’s 10 years in 4-H she has grown inside and outside the show ring where she showed dogs, horses and goats. She has learned so much about the goat business and how to be successful inside the ring but also has learned about herself and has truly grown as a person. Celie has been Vice President of the Galeton 4-H club for three years and has learned how to take charge and manage a big group of people, how to assist a president or boss in their duties, and how to be a good leader. She has also gained many other skills and qualities such as confidence, public speaking abilities, responsibility, the love for volunteering, and so much more. Through 4-H she can now talk to people, big groups and small groups, without getting nervous. Celie will be attending Eastern Wyoming College majoring in business with a career goal of getting her business degree and then going into event and wedding planning.
Celie is the recipient of the Weld County 4-H Foundation Scholarship.
