Dorothy Martin Zapka Memorial Scholarship
Courtney Bydalek started showing swine through 4-H when she was 8 years old and showing livestock has taught her many life lessons and important skills. She has learned responsibility, commitment, determination, and financial skills over the last several years. There have been countless times when she felt like giving up, but she is so incredibly grateful for the people around her who supported and encouraged her along the way. Every project she has been involved in has taught her so much whether it’s learning from her mistakes or learning not to give up. She has been an officer for the Wagoneers 4-H club for the last several years including Song Leader, Secretary, Vice President, and President, and these positions have strengthened her confidence. Courtney has developed a huge passion for animals and agriculture and is planning to major in Vet Tech at Eastern Wyoming College.
Courtney is the recipient of the Dorothy Martin Zabka Memorial Scholarship.
