Weld County 4-H Foundation Scholarship
Audrey Koehn started her 4-H career when she was eight years old. With two older sisters involved, she was fortunate to have guidance and encouragement whenever she needed it. She is a 10-year member who has taken poultry, horse and leathercraft. One thing she is grateful for in 4-H is learning the responsibilities needed to be a leader and a good role model. She has had the honor and opportunity to serve as President, Vice President, and Secretary of Keene 4-H Boosters and learned that each office has certain requirements that need to be met. Audrey has learned how to run meetings, conflict resolution, organizing fundraisers and events, and most importantly public speaking. She has learned that leadership isn’t about being the loudest voice in the room, but about making sure every voice is heard. Audrey has always felt called to work with babies and will be attending University of Texas at Tyler to become a registered nurse. Supporting families as they welcome new life is both meaningful and deeply personal to her.
Audrey is the recipient of the Weld County 4-H Foundation Scholarship.
