Paul and Jean Hoshiko Memorial Family Scholarship
Brody Jones began his 4-H career at 8 years old, and he didn't know much when he joined and how much it would affect him later in life. He started his 9 year 4-H career with robotics, archery, woodworking, baking and held leadership roles in the Severance 4-H Club. During the COVID, he decided to start showing sheep and now is showing dairy cattle. During his time in 4-H, he found a love for leading and guiding others within this organization and giving back to one’s community. He has served as club president twice with a multitude of other officer positions and in this past year became the first inaugural Weld County Fair Junior Fair Board president. Brody plans to earn a bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering at Iowa State University to pursue his career goal of designing and working on agricultural equipment.
Brody is a recipient of the Paul and Jean Hoshiko Family Scholarship.
