Norgren Family Memorial Scholarship

Makennah is the daughter of Wendy and Jonathon Tucker of Briggsdale, CO.  She is a Sophomore at the Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK and is planning to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in both Ag Education and Animal Science.  She plans to become an ag teacher and FFA Advisor.  She hopes to coach her students to complete in and win many FFA competitions at the local, state, and National levels as well as win chapter awards.

Makennah was in 4H for about 11 years with the Crow Creek 4H Club. Being in 4H help shape her into a better leader and citizen, and she learned to be helpful to the younger youth, respectful to each other, hardworking and willing to share knowledge with anyone who needs it.  Her greatest accomplishment through 4H was to be able to start her own show cattle which helped her learn responsibility, management, record keeping and many other thins to prepare her for her future.  Makennah’s cattle herd provides food for her family, food for others, show calves for her, and show calves to sell. From the meat and show calves she has sold; Makennah has been able to help pay for a portion of her college education thus far.

Makennah is the recipient of the Norgren Family Memorial Scholarship.
