Weld County 4-H Foundation Scholarship
Simon is the son of Cheryl and Andrew Raff of Nunn, CO. Simon is a senior at Highland High School and is looking to attend Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington, WY. He is looking to get an Agriculture Business Degree and Animal Science as he’s always had a passion for livestock that has grown throughout the years from showing goats and building his own herd. Simon’s goal is to manage his own herd of show goats that have great genetics, structural correctness, and yield.
He is an 8-year member of the Small-Town Critters 4-H Club. Simon is most proud to say that his goats are his partners. He has learned how to train each year’s crop and keep them healthy. He learned hide and hair management to help them look their best in the ring. All those thing combined will serve him well in live as he knows the work it takes to maintain a herd that was bought with hard work.
Simon is the recipient of the Weld County 4-H Foundation Scholarship.
