Otis Kindvall

(High School) Scholarship

Otis is the son of Sarah and Thomas Kindvall of Firestone, CO.  He is a senior at Frederick High School and is looking to attend UNC, Aims or UCC.  His goal is to get a bachelor’s in Psychology and Education, and then work on his masters in School Psychology to work in the school system. Having ADHD, he would like to be the one in the schools’ helping others, giving support, and helping them to be successful no matter who they are, their beliefs and the support that is there since they all matter.

Otis is an 11-year member of the Tailtwisters 4-H Club. In his 4-H Presidential speech he stated that he wanted to become the President his last year of 4-H because he felt that the club should be a club that grows by including all, does more for the community and encourages others to be themselves as that is what Otis experienced by his leaders and fellow members, and he wants everyone to feel that way in 4-H.

Otis is the recipient of the Weld County High School 4-H Leaders Council Scholarship.
