Dorothy Martin Zabka Memorial Scholarship
Jenna is the daughter of Kristi and John Batka of Ault. She is a senior at Highland High School and is planning to attend the South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD and is going to study to be an agriculture education teacher knowing that what she is doing will be making someone else’s day just a little better. She is ready to pursue a career in ag education as she will get to do her favorite things, advocate about agriculture, interact with students and staff members, be a leader, and create a relationship with the community.
Jenna is a 10-year member of the Wyatt 4-H Club. 4-H has been a major part of her life for many years. Without 4-H she wouldn’t have been shown the importance of a strong work ethic, time, and finance management and, above all, communication and leadership skills that are essential to succeed in life. She knows that she is better prepared for her future from learning valuable and lifelong skills that have helped shape her into the person she is today.
Jenna is the recipient of the Dorothy Martin Zabka Memorial Scholarship.
