4-H Endowment Program Classes

The past month or so, youth around Weld County and beyond have gone virtual. This month’s topic was Energy and families were able to pick up kits at the Colorado Model Railroad Museum (our partner for these programs). Each kit came with supplies that could also be found around the house. Kits included projects such as build your own solar oven, build an electromagnet, build a potential drag racer, and more. The youth were then instructed to follow along 8 virtual videos that explained the topic and how to build the project. The Greeley Station news agency helped us reach out to our youth. So far there has been a total of 1030 views and counting. The Chamber of Commerce had a section on these programs on their webpage.

Or look for the Greeley Station Channel and find our STEAM videos.

We rely on local donations to help make these kits free and accessible to youth. Thank you for your donation.
